"With “fro-yo” places popping up everywhere, I often wonder:
what happened to good old-fashioned ice cream? Well, Pops has it, and it is
some of the best you will ever taste. They have a vast selection of flavors,
from the traditional to the unique. They manage to keep everything at perfect
temperature so when it comes out of the freezer it is creamy and of perfect
texture. My favorites are the salted caramel praline and pistachio, which is
one of the few pistachio ice creams with real pistachios (most have almonds).
On my most recent visit, I was about to walk out with my scoop when I commented
to the owner that I wish I had gotten an extra scoop of a different flavor. Bam!
Right then and there, he added the extra scoop—no charge. One of the
friendliest proprietors you will meet anywhere. Don’t miss Pops as it is a true
gem, and a great compliment to the dining scene in the area."
